Tracking Unscheduled Airway Patients in Your Dental Practice

How much revenue is your dental practice missing out on due to unscheduled treatment plans? Don’t let your patients fall through the cracks! Luckily, Vivos Practice Advisory Services has several solutions that can help you get unscheduled patients in the office and revenue on schedule.

For example, having a policy in place for following up is crucial to engaging with unscheduled patients that have not accepted treatment. Once a month, generate a report of patients with unscheduled treatment, filtering by code. These patients should be placed on a tracker for outreach with detailed notes of the contact type and conversations you will have, including preferred secondary follow-up times/dates. Continued scheduled contact reassures your patients that the treatment plan you’ve spent hours preparing for them is valuable to their overall health. Honest urgency needs to be communicated.

The following three recommendations can also help you improve your approach:

1. Establish the value of treatment.
2. Reiterate your concerns.
3. Track and follow up

Download the one sheet below to learn even more about how these can help you reengage with untreated patients!
