Discovering Your Why

Today, we start our series on reigniting your passion for Vivos and engaging your team!

“Regardless of WHAT we do in our lives, our WHY—our driving purpose, cause or belief—never changes.”

“All organizations start with WHY, but only the great ones keep their WHY clear year after year. Those who forget WHY they were founded show up to the race every day to outdo someone else instead of to outdo themselves.”

WHAT, HOW, AND WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

1. Studies have shown that the Vivos Method alters the size, shape, and position of the tissues that comprise the human airway, leading to lower mean AHI scores by up to 65.9% in patients with mild-to-moderate obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

2. Through peer-reviewed studies and raw prospective clinical data from reporting dentists treating their patients with the Vivos Method, it has been recorded and reported that the Vivos Method is showing astounding improvement in patients diagnosed with mild-to-moderate OSA in people of all ages.

3. The average treatment for an adult is approximately 12 to 24 months, after which no further intervention is required for most patients.

4. Vivos will work with dentists throughout North America and abroad. We provide dentists with the tools, resources, and continuing education to help them understand the clinical science of orofacial sleep medicine. OSA is a potentially serious medical condition that affects millions of people of all ages.

In most cases, OSA is the result of underdeveloped upper and lower jaws. There are a number of palliative treatments—including CPAP, surgical implants, or reconstructive surgery—that are effective at treating the symptoms of OSA. Traditional dental sleep appliances—such as mandibular advancement devices (MADs)—have also been effective at treating the symptoms. However, to correct the underlying condition, patients suffering from OSA have very few options. For example, reconstructive surgery is often costly, can be painful, and has potentially serious side effects.

On the other hand, the Vivos Method is a comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment protocol that often utilizes patented Vivos oral appliances to treat the root cause of mild-to-moderate OSA. This treatment protocol is delivered by a specially trained dentist.
